Richard Sillick

Dick’s experience is a valued perspective in the development of brand and brand messaging platforms. A trained graphic designer and seasoned advertising art director, Dick is able to crystallize the essential power of brand in words and imagery and directs brand communications teams made up of writers, photographers, illustrators and producers of film and video. His work for Nazareth College, The Harley School, The Wesley Community, and others have garnered coveted industry awards including Telly and Addy Awards.

Dick conducts communications audits and campus life scans for institutions for which we are implementing brand strategies. He is a valued member of our senior brand development team and extends the brand identity into advertising campaigns, institutional identities, admissions and capital campaign materials, and a variety of special projects for building brand awareness including for Gettysburg College, Salem Academy & College, NJIT, Strong Health/University of Rochester Medical Center, as well as numerous clients in the nonprofit and business sectors. He directed the brand awareness advertising campaign for Nazareth College, now in its fourth year. The campaign included a series of broadcast television spots supported with print advertising. Pre- and post-testing of those confirmed that community perceptions of Nazareth College markedly shifted toward a more accurate understanding of the quality of the school and its involvement as a citizen of the community. For this same client, he also designed a comprehensive graphic identity system, the development of which included an institution-wide survey of final choices. He has designed brand identity systems for Woods Oviatt Gilman LLP, SWBR Architects and Engineers, and Lifespan, a nonprofit organization serving the senior community.

Dick earned his Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts (with a concentration in Advertising Design) from the University of Denver.
